Check back for an update, but out of the box these are nice. I like the perceived 'low profile'. They are really about the same size as a normal low cut basketball shoe except they have only a sole with no sides.....those sometimes gawky wrap arounds that go up the shoe for 1-2" are absent , thus giving the shoe an appearance of being right on the ground. That is where it stops. They have about the same padding and air chambers as a normal Nike Air shoe, so you are still walking/running in comfort. I suggest going a 1/2 size large to compensate for the normal extra cushioning they put in. I wear a size 12 and bought a size 12 they fit ok, and in a couple days when I break them in they should be better. They would not house a sports insole, which i tend to buy because I wear them to work. So if you want to put this in, you will definitely need a 1/2 size or more bigger. Try them on if you can.
